| CAEAA Judicial Process for the 2007 Elans |

| 2nd Annual Canadian Awards for the Electronic and Animated Arts |
1. Submissions for Nomination are sent directly to CAEAA Head Office. (see “Submissions for Nomination”)
2. Submissions are confirmed for eligibility by CAEAA staff. (see “Submission Criteria for the 2007 Elans”)
3. CAEAA staff sort and package eligible submissions by Industry and Category.
4. Submissions are sent out to Jurors (see “Jury Selection & Process”) during that Industry’s Jury Period (see “Submission Criteria for the 2007 Elans”)
5. Jurors return all Submissions for Nomination other than the four they selected as Final Nominees to CAEAA Head Office within their allocated Jury Period deadline. (see “Submission Criteria for the 2007 Elans”)
6. Jurors return their four selections for the Final Nominees directly to CAEAA Auditors, Buckley Dodds.
7. Within each individual Juror’s package for four final nominees is enclosed a sealed ballot for the Winner of that Juror’s category.
8. Buckley Dodds tallies the votes per Jury panel (per category) and delivers to the CAEAA Head Office the four final nominees per Category for each of the three industries.
9. Buckley Dodds retains possession of the Winning Ballots which they then audit and determine the Winner in each Category. Note: The Winners’ list will not be distributed to anyone for any reason.
10. Buckley Dodds is solely in charge of the recording and security of the Winners’ list, as well as the statuettes and the delivery of the Winners’ names to the Producers of the CAEAA. The Producers of the CAEAA will only share this confidential information with the Show Producer of the 2007 Elans in order so that they may be technically ready for the announcements made on the night of the Awards Show. |
